Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Function-x-Design. By engaging with us for 3D printing, laser engraving/cutting, or electronics design services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Services We Offer

We provide the following services:

  • 3D Printing (including design and fabrication)
  • Laser Engraving and Cutting
  • Electronics Design (e.g., prototyping, circuit design)


2. Client Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate specifications, including files and dimensions, for 3D prints, laser cuts, or electronics designs.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that any materials or files you provide do not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
  • For custom projects, you will be asked to review and approve designs before production begins.


3. Pricing and Payment

  • Payment must be made in full before any project begins, including custom 3D prints and other services.
  • We accept payments via bank transfer, PayPal, or all major credit cards.


4. Turnaround Times

  • Estimated delivery times will be provided with each quote. Please note that delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, and we will notify you if this happens.


5. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of any intellectual property (e.g., designs, files) that you provide.
  • We retain ownership of any custom designs, processes, or techniques created unless otherwise agreed.
  • We may use images of the final products for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise.


6. Quality and Warranty

  • We aim to meet your specifications and ensure high-quality results. However, due to the nature of 3D printing, laser cutting, and electronics work, minor variations may occur.
  • We offer a 30-day warranty for defective work caused by our error. This warranty does not cover issues caused by client errors (e.g., incorrect files or designs).


7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Once work has commenced, cancellations may incur a fee to cover materials and labor already expended.
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion based on the circumstances of the order.


8. Liability

  • We are not responsible for damage to materials you provide or any loss arising from the use of the products or designs created.
  • By using our services, you agree to indemnify us against any claims or damages resulting from the use of the work produced.


9. Privacy

  • We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any details you provide will only be used to complete your order and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Return and Refund Policy

At Function-x-Design, we strive to provide high-quality products and services. If you're not completely satisfied with your order, we’re here to help. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.


1. Custom Orders

  • Since many of our products and services are custom-made (e.g., 3D prints, laser engravings, and electronics designs), we do not offer returns or exchanges on custom orders once production has started.
  • We encourage you to review all details and specifications before confirming your order to ensure satisfaction with the final product.

2. Defective or Damaged Products

  • If your product arrives damaged or defective due to our error, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • We will work with you to resolve the issue by either providing a replacement or issuing a refund, depending on the circumstances.

3. Non-Custom Orders

  • If you purchase any non-custom products (such as pre-made items or stock designs), you may return them within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused, undamaged, and in the original packaging.
  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, and the product must be returned in resellable condition.

4. Refund Process

  • For defective or damaged items, we will either repair or replace the product at no additional cost, or offer a full refund if a replacement is not possible.
  • For returns of non-custom items, a refund will be issued once the item is returned and inspected. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.

5. Non-Refundable Fees

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
  • If you cancel an order after production has started, we may charge a cancellation fee to cover materials and time already spent.

6. How to Request a Return or Refund

  • To initiate a return or refund request, please contact us at pnfunctionalprints@gmail.com within the specified time frame. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable (e.g., if the product is damaged).

7. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update or amend this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated policy will take effect immediately upon posting.
